When deleting any file or folder from your computer, windows asks " Are you sure you want to move this file to the Recycle Bin?", this is because windows need to confirm this file deleting by mistake or accident. This takes a lot of your time while you are deleting unnecessary files in order to clean up your hard drive.
In Windows, there is an easy method to disable this delete confirmation box, so that it may save your precious time. but, do not really disable this, unless really necessary.you can turn it back on after you are done with your cleaning up of the computer.
- Right-click on the Recycle Bin.
- Click on Properties.
- Now Recycle Bin Properties dialog box will appear, then Uncheck the Display delete confirmation dialog box.
- Click Apply and then press OK button.
- Now you have disabled the delete confirmation dialog box
- If you want to turn it on again and keep it as default settings, it is very Easy. just Right -click on Recycle bin and then properties and click on the tiny box on the left side to Display delete confirmation dialog box. Then Apply and click OK
